Critter Quest
Fish, hawks, sharks, and a camel — find them all across the island.
A creature safari across Long Island: hundred-year-old trout at the hatchery, rescue hawks and owls at Sweetbriar, sharks in Riverhead, and farm friends who will absolutely eat the feed cup out of small hands. Every stop is a real animal place that welcomes kids. Admission fees apply at some stops — that's the grown-ups' mission.
The stops
Feed the trout, then find the biggest turtle in the building. Photo of everyone doing their best turtle face next to it.
Meet a resident rescue raptor. Mission: learn its name and one reason it lives here, and say both on video.
Find the shark tank. Count the sharks out loud on video — the count must be defended to the judges.
Feed something with four legs. Photo of the moment — bonus if it's taller than the kid feeding it.
Walk the trail to the animal complex and find the fox. Quietest team photo ever taken — whispers only.
