Hoyt Farm Field Day
One great park, five missions — built for the whole crew.
All five stops inside Hoyt Farm Nature Preserve: 133 acres of orchard, trails, playground, and a homestead older than the country. This one is built for families — short legs welcome, no driving between stops, bring a picnic for the finale.
The stops
Mission one: every kid on a different piece of equipment, one photo. Grown-ups on the swings = +5.
Find the old farmhouse. Mission: everyone points at the oldest thing they can see — judges pick the best guess from the note.
March the orchard rows single file, tallest to smallest. Photo from the front of the line.
Walk the loop and collect three finds on camera: something that flies, something that crawls, something older than grandma. No picking, no poking.
Blanket down, everybody in, self-timer photo of the whole crew mid-cheer. That's the hunt — ice cream is on whoever lost.
